Matthias Fitz studied visual communication and experimental media design at UdK (university of fine arts), Berlin, after he had finished his apprenticeship to communication electrician. He graduated with extraordinary artistic commendation in 2002. He is a master student of Prof. Maria Vedder in experimental media design since 2003.
His videos and installations were presented at festivals in Germany and abroad and won several video awards.
