A not involved eye watches the official time of the collective state of emergency. Just like the individual in the video de-individualises itself by hiding its face, by wearing masks, becoming an undistinguishable part of the masses, the signature of the single one as another feature of identification is being destroyed, blurred.

Every single form we hold is only temporary, and being in its eternity bears no form.

Chien-Nin Hung was born in Taiwan. She graduated in fine arts at Kingston University, London, in 2005. She lives and works in London and Taiwan. Her works were presented at galleries in the UK, Taiwan, and Spain.
